Welcome to the Trophy Room! Ever since I was a kid I was fascinated by video games.  Early games like Pac-Man and Centipede didn't really have conclusions as far as I can remember.  There was no ultimate goal except to try and beat the high score.

As the indusrty changed so did the object of the game.  Pretty soon all my friends were bragging to eachother about our various video game conquests.  Here then is a collection of all the games I have finished in my "career".  There are plenty of games worth mentioning that can't make the trophey room simply because there was no real "end-goal".  Games like Dance Dance Revolution or pure multi-player games like Counter-Strike  (both of which I have wasted away days of my life on) simply aren't "beaten".

Anyway with a slew of titles under my belt I figured I might as well display them somewhere.  Check it out!
Ah the Nintendo.  Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to have a NES untill someone gave it to me for my birthday.  So I missed out on classics like Metroid and Zelda.  Some of these games I could only beat by cheating but I figured I'd put them in here anyway
The Genesis really introduced me to the concept of "bits"  I didn't really know what they were exactly, but I knew that the Genesis had 16 of them and that was TWICE what my old NES had.  I'm not sure how I convinced my parents to let me get this.
The N64 got kinda a bad rep.  Dismissed by many as a "kids machine" and lacking the sheer numbers that the playstation library had, it enjoyed only moderate success.  However it was the first big console with 4 built in controler ports.  That equals fun X4.  Goldeneye, Banjo, and Mario Kart still stand out as some of my all-time favorite games.
Remember when Sony's console was the New Kid On The Block?  The Playstation was an awsome machine that marketed itself to an older hipper crowd.  I held out on buying one for a long time, but finally I had seen one too many Final Fantasy 7 commercials and (thankfully) caved in.
Sega's Consoles never managed to really take off.  The original Sega couldn't hold a candle to the NES, the Genesis got trounced by Super Nes, and the Dreamcast couldn't keep up with Sony's Playstation.  Still it was a great game machine, and once again...you goatta love the 4 built-in controller ports.
The PC...the weapon of choice for gameing's elite.  Because of my early devotion to Apple computers I was very late in getting into PC games.  I missed out on some awsome looking titles (like Out of this World, Warcraft, X-wing, and Syndicate).  Nowadays I am feverishly trying to make up for lost time.  :)
I remember waiting in line for the PS2 and then having to wait a little longer before I could finally secure one.  Sony's second console continues to biuld on the market-share momentum of the first and is the dominant console today.  Not only that but I work for these guys now!
Nintendo is still hanging on.  Like the N64, it can't really compete with Sony but I like it much better than Microsoft's machine.  I'll always come back for Nintendo's big franchise titles.  Plus...those four built- in controller ports are a big plus.
