I'll probably change the layout of this page eventually.  Untill then here are some of my drawings and stuff.  Enjoy!
West Coast Defenders: A few years back I drew up a super-hero team based on a close group of friends.  Each of us had some sort of "silly super-power" based on our interests and personalities.  Here are a few of those:
Baditude 1
Baditude 2
Fwats X
RyderGyrl
(note:  my browser automatically shrinks a lot of these images which is really annoying.  I don't know about other browsers, but if you are using IE make sure you rest your cursor on each image after it loads.  If you see a little symbol pop up in the bottom right corner...click on it to expand the image to it's proper size.)
Phil Slayer: I don't quite remember how this go started, but it has to do with my college friend, Phil Broughton.  I started leaving these really nasty drawings of him getting mutilated if I came to his door and he wasn't home.
For some reason he loved em.  I started to think he was avoiding me just to get new Phil Slayer cartoons.

Trouble's Braids: Tom Waits is one of my all time favorite singer/ songwriters.  I find his music really conjures up powerfull images in my head.  This is best viewed with the song "Troubles Braids" playing in the background.

The Scourge: I was playing a lot of Warcraft III when I drew this
Hand Study: I think I was trying to get a free-lance job with this.  Just some hands rendered in pen.  It's nothing compared to Fwats X's favorite "Corn Study" though.

Bachelors: This was an attempt at some sort of funny strip.  It's rooted in the idea that single dudes are sort of a "different breed".  It was based on the daily adventures of myself and my housemate at the time.  The "birdman" was going to be a comic about a conversation I had with my friend Adam.  It was supposed to be about how I was too lazy to do an on-line strip.  But I never finished it...HA!

Portrait: Who's it of?  Well it sure as hell can't be a self-portrait since it looks nothing like me...DOH!

Magic Man: Huzzah!

Heather: I recently attended a day-long tutorial for "digital painting" with Don Seegmiller.  It was really inspiring.  Don uses a program called Painter, along with a Wacom Tablet.  I have neither.  Here's what I did (using a lot of his principles) with a mouse in photoshop.

Here's the progression from the original sketch to the final painting.

Space Monkey: A tribute to some of the early pioneers of space travel.

Arachnaphobia:  I thought it might be fun to do a series of paintings based on different phobias.  So far I've only done one.  :)
Arachnaphonia
Wipeout: There's a cool web forum for artists (mainly digital) that I like to browse through.  They post weekly challenges to help get the creative juices going.  This was one I did for a challenge called, "Moment of Impact"

Dia De Los Muertos: Another piece for that fourm's weekly challenge.  This one was for the Mexican "Day of the Dead" holiday.

Arya Stark >>IN PROGRESS<<: This is a work in progress of a character from Geroge R.R. Martin's exceptional "Fire and Ice" series.  This is actually a cropped version of what will be the final, I cut out a lot of the parts that are not quite as far along.

Party Invite: This was a flyer for a house-warming party I made.  It's a lil different in style than most of my other stuff.  I was listening to Diana Ross while making it to try and keep the mood fun and exuberent.  I also cheated a lil on the 2-color panels of the band-members....don't tell anyone.
